We are movers who charge a flat rate.

We realized that in New York City like nowhere else time itself has a value. If we finish a move ahead of schedule, we both win.

Most other New York based moving companies who charge by the hour just can't say that. So, in order to get you a quote, we need to have an idea of the items to be moved. Hence the online estimate form. It is a checklist of items that allows you to quickly check off items you need moved. There’s a comments box where you can type in anything you feel we need to know in order to provide you (and us) with an accurate quote. We’ll figure out an average number of boxes you’ll probably end up with if you are packing. If you’d like us to drop of materials we always give you more than you need, but only charge you for what you use, and take the rest back on moving day.

Our flat rates are affordable to everyone!! But please take this fact into consideration when choosing a company to move you: our employees make a 'living wage', so we have low turnover. That's one reason why people find the service we offer is a cut above the average moving company. In this city, and in the moving business in particular, you get what you pay for. Most of our growth is attributable to referrals from past customers, because we make your relocation a positive experience.

All of our moving trucks are fully equipped. We have dollies, hand trucks, moving blankets, logistical straps, piano boards, tools for disassembly and reassembly, as well as our own line of reusable GothamBoxes™ and other moving supplies. We have floor paper, masonite, and we can fax a certificate of insurance to your building if required.

We know that how we move your belongings is as important as the price of the move!

In the past we have moved a 9' concert grand piano down a flight of stairs in a church, a huge stone sculpture (originally from a Belgian castle and weighing 2,000 pounds) from DUMBO to New Jersey, Tom Otterness sculptures, and upright and grand pianos up and down multiple flights of stairs. Plasma TV's, Grandfather Clocks, Chandeliers, Steuben Crystal, mirrored closets, whatever your most valued possessions may be, we have already moved them locally, and throughout the East Coast. We go as far west as Chicago and Texas. We move entire homes, large apartments, lofts, as well as studios, 1 and 2 bedrooms locally and long-distance.
